Jenny Litz is a Fishery Biologist at the National Marine Fisheries Service working in the Marine Mammal Program. Her research is focused on marine mammal strandings, health, and stock structure in southeast U.S. waters. Jenny was the 2001 RSMAS Alumni Fellowship recipient and received her Ph.D. in Marine Biology and Fisheries from the Rosenstiel School in 2007. Her dissertation investigated the social structure, genetic structure, and organohalogen pollutants in bottlenose dolphins in Biscayne Bay, FL.

Marilyn Brandt is currently working as a cooperative Post-doctoral Associate between RSMAS’s Division of Marine Biology and Fisheries and the South Florida-Caribbean Network of the National Park Service. Her research is focused on developing better monitoring methods for assessing trends in reef fish populations and in understanding their relationships with benthic features. Marilyn received her Ph.D. in Marine Biology and Fisheries from the Rosenstiel School in 2007. Her dissertation work was aimed at quantifying the impact and dynamics of coral disease in the Cayman Islands and Florida Keys.
Secretary: Jennifer Schull
Jennifer Schull is a Fishery Biologist at the National Marine Fisheries Service working in the office of Science Planning and Coordination. Previous research has focused on the distribution and abundance of Goliath grouper, Epinephelus itajara, in the Ten Thousand Islands area of Southwest Florida as well as general grouper ecology and monitoring fish populations along the Florida Reef Tract.
