I am a second year graduate student pursuing a PhD in Meteorology and Physical Oceanography under advisement of Professor Shuyi S. Chen at the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science (RSMAS).

My research relates to the study of an atmospheric phenomenon called the Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO). In particular, I am interested in its initiation, and its eastward propagation across the region of Maritime Continent, and modeling those processes using the Unified Wave Interface - Coupled Model (UWIN-CM).

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics from University of Miami, FL in December 2013.
